SELF HELP FOR GREATER SELF CONFIDENCE
SELF HELP FOR GREATER SELF CONFIDENCE
Self -Confidence is the belief; “I can do this!”
When you don’t feel confident, when you don’t feel like you can ‘do this’, it is natural to look outside of yourself for support, props and reasons. You may turn to friends and family or like millions of us, you may turn to self-help books. They are many great books out there, and there are many people like myself who truly want to help and support you in a sustainable, authentic and self-fulfilling way. However there are also many rogues and time and money wasters. Cutting the wheat from the chaff can be hard and this is why my recommendation to you is to start with yourself.
Don’t be overwhelmed by thinking others have the answer. By all means see what’s out there and talk to others but when you feel like you can’t do something and you are stuck, you can feel frantic. The key is to relax, lean into the discomfort and instead when talking to others, listening to podcasts or reading a self-help book, simply tune in and take what you need. Trusting that you will pick out what’s helpful and leave the rest behind. Don’t worry about trying to absorb only what’s useful.
Once you have spent some time using the resources available to you it is important that you don’t get stuck in research mode so above all, take action.
Ready Fire Aim is often far more effective than Ready Aim Fire. Once you start firing you’ll learn what your aim is.
Don’t be afraid of failure it’s a learning opportunity. So step away from the self help and do something. Remove the word failure from your vocabulary and start something.
Trust that you will ask the questions when you get stuck and so you will find the answers as you go along.
And remember – You don’t need all the answers before you start.
However if you simply need some help getting started and you see me as one of your resources to talk to before, during and after you take action then email info@yourvelvetevolution.com and book your free ‘meet and greet’ session today!
Wishing you a happy and confident day!
