RECONCILIATION: Healing The Inner Child by Thich Nhat Hanh

Book Recommendation February 2014 by THICH NHAT HANH

Book Recommendation February 2014 by THICH NHAT HANH

Author Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk and Zen Master whose life values and mindfulness practice has influenced many generations, and will no doubt go on to do the same for generations to come.

Reconciliation: healing the inner child is book that focuses on two areas that I am very passionate about – mindfulness practice and how we connect to our inner child.

In Reconciliation, Thich Nhat Hanh helps the reader explore, understand and find actions that can help them find self-fulfilling contentment and happiness through connecting back with their inner child.  He also provides perspective on how childhood pain and confusion can be transformed for adults into strength and clarity.

This is a truly moving and inspiring book, and I urge you all, whether you feel you had childhood trauma, or not, to pick up this book and allow yourself to listen to the messages about the importance of knowing, accepting and loving your inner child each and every day.

Wishing you, and your inner child, a happy and confident mindful day.

    Happy reading!
