DO IT, DOING IT, DONE IT, DID IT
Is it possible to adapt the idea of a mantra to create a powerful and personal motivational tool?
Many of us will be aware of the benefits of meditation and that some meditation (from Hinduism and Buddhism) uses mantras. From a religious perspective, mantras are mystic words used in ritual and meditation. A mantra is believed to be the sound form of reality, having the power to bring into being the reality it represents.
‘The sound form of reality’, now that sounds like a powerful tool to keep us focused and on track in achieving our goals and ambitions. I am interested in the benefits of finding words or a phrase that sum up your attitude to life and living. For me, this is it:
DO IT, DOING IT, DONE IT, DID IT
You can incorporate this into phrase into your meditation time, or you can just keep the words in your mind. Write them down and place them by your bed or bathroom mirror, or put them in your phone or as your screensaver, anywhere that works for you so every day you see them and remember, that this is how you have chosen to live your life and define your attitude to life.
So what would you word, words or phrase be?
